The Woman’s Guild started way back in 1981. It was formed by a few ladies who came this side and settled. Some came from PCEA Bahati and others from PCEA St. Andrew’s. They were under St. Andrew’s Parish in Ngong Hills Presbytery.
The following were the office bearers and members

- Mrs. Grace N. Kimondo – Church School Superintendent
- Mrs. Eunice K. M’Barine – Member
- Mrs. Mary W. Gitahi – Member
- Mrs. Gladys W. Muriithi – Member
- Mrs. Rahab W. Gatu– Member
1st Muteero Guild Dedication
The above members found it necessary to increase the members. On 10th June 1983, the following ladies were dedicated at PCEA St. Andrews by Rev. Timothy Njoya.
Those ladies were:
1. Isabella M. Muturi
2. Lillian G. Kanaiya
3. Naomi W. Murigu
4. Susan M. Kiragu
Immediately thereafter, Muteero qualified to be a Guild Congregation. Later on Muteero Church, Langata
Church and Nairobi West Church were made a Parish known as Langata Parish. Muteero Guild continued to grow both spiritually and in numbers. A few years later PCEA Kuwinda Church was started and we continued to be under Langata Parish Woman’s Guild. Muteero Guild started Namanga Guild. Few years later some of the Woman’s Guild members left Muteero to start Woman’s Guild at PCEA Embul Bul.
Muteero Woman’s Guild continued growing both spiritually and in numbers. A few years ago some members left Muteero and joined some members from St. Andrew’s and started PCEA Karen Woman’s Guild and now under Karen Parish Woman’s Guild.
Last but not least Muteero Woman’s Guild at 40 years we are now 57 full members and 11 followers.

- To build and develop capacity of women and girls through training, skills enhancement to enable them to transform the society.
